RTITB Fork Lift Truck Refresher

This course is designed to test the competence of experienced certified operators. Those who successfully pass the test will be re-issued with a certificate of basic training by the RTITB. This course is suitable for RTITB certified lift truck operators who wish to reaffirm their driving skills.

By the end of the course participants will be able to:

• Identify the lift truck model in use
• Conduct weight assessments
• Understand controls and instruments 
• Handle laden and unladen pallets
• Start, move, steer and stop the truck 
• Stack/de-stack using the truck 
• Operate hydraulic controls 
• Conduct a pre-use inspection and takeover maintenance – both free standing and in racking.

Qualification gained:

Experienced certified operators who successfully pass the test will be re-issued with a certificate of basic training by the RTITB.
